THESIS: Device-to-Cloud System for Predictive Maintenance
Join us for your thesis work! Gain hands-on experience, work on real projects, and develop your skills in a supportive and innovative environment!
High level description
Industries increasingly collect sensor data from equipment, but much of this data is not fully used for real time insights or predictive maintenance. A device-to-cloud prototype can demonstrate how even simple hardware can generate valuable data for health monitoring and failure prediction.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Project description
This thesis aims to explore use cases for implementing AI agent that can maintain and improve documentation, knowledge base and help creating monthly reports for customers. The work will involve exploring how to implement integrations towards systems that are used in Customer success without access to outside of environment.
Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this thesis is to explore how device-to-cloud systems can be applied for predictive maintenance in a resource limited setting. The project will demonstrate a complete data pipeline: from data acquisition on the device, through cloud-based analytics, to actionable feedback at the edge. The scope is limited to a small-scale prototype, with a single fan and low-cost sensors, implemented over a 3-month period. The outcome will be proof of concept that highlights technical challenges and opportunities for performance optimization, data processing, and predictive analytics in IoT systems.
