Project description

The thesis will utilize prompt engineering to process data from change requests, source code, source code comments, and software interface descriptions. The objective is to develop an AI framework that automatically generates test cases aligned with specific change requests, thereby increasing the coverage and efficiency of verification processes. Additionally, the project will explore the generation of automated regression test code to ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this study is to leverage AI to streamline the creation of test cases from change requests, improve verification coverage, and automate regression testing. This approach is expected to enhance the quality of software products and reduce the manual effort involved in the testing phases of software development.
