High level description
This project explores the application of artificial intelligence in software engineering to accelerate the formulation of change requests from initial business needs and enhance the precision of early-stage estimates.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science/Engineering
Project description
Utilizing prompt engineering techniques, this thesis will analyze diverse data sources including Architecture Design Records, source code, source code comments, and work effort reports. The aim is to develop AI-driven models that can predict the necessary changes and estimate the efforts required more accurately at the early stages of the software development cycle. By integrating AI, the project seeks to identify patterns and insights that reduce the time between recognizing business needs and articulating precise change requests.
Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this study is to leverage artificial intelligence to streamline the software development process, specifically by shortening the lead time for change requests and enhancing the accuracy of initial estimates. This could lead to more efficient project management and resource allocation in software engineering practices.
