iOS Developer
Build mobile apps that matter. At DDX, you’ll create impactful digital products with modern frameworks, in a team that values curiosity, collaboration, and lasting impact.
Why This Job Is for You
You want to be part of an engaged and collaborative team where you can deepen your expertise in software engineering, with focus on iOS app development, while continuing to grow your technical knowledge. You enjoy contributing to meaningful product development for both startups, large-scale product companies, and public organizations alike.
At DDX we put people at the heart of our process. We create digital products that improve everyday life — not just for today’s users, but for future generations, with a lasting impact on both people and the planet. We choose the right tech for the task – iOS, Android, or modern multiplatform frameworks like React Native and Kotlin Multiplatform. We value your curiosity and willingness to explore new technologies.
You will be working within our Hardware & Design business area, where we combine broad engineering expertise with deep specialist knowledge and a user-centered approach – to develop physical products and digital experiences all the way from concept to large-scale production.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain digital products, primarily iOS apps. Most often, in close collaboration and in joint contribution, with the corresponding Android app.
- Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to craft seamless, user-friendly solutions.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and high-quality delivery.
- Participate in architectural discussions and influence tech decisions and design patterns.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks to enhance the development process and user experience.
- Contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture. Help guide our clients by understanding their goals and suggesting solutions that create real value for them—and us.
Qualifications
- You are an experienced iOS developer with solid skills in Swift (Objective-C is a plus).
- You have knowledge of many parts of the iOS toolchain, Apple frameworks, and commonly used third-party frameworks.
- You are comfortable with design patterns such as MVC or MVVM, and you write clean, well-architected, testable, and maintainable code.
- You have experience from customer-centric, iterative projects, creating high-quality iOS apps.
- You are familiar with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- You care about system architecture, usability, and interface design, and enjoy working in cross-functional teams with designers, product people, and other developers.
- You are used to working in an agile environment with strong collaboration and code review practices.
- You thrive as a consultant — driven by curiosity for our clients’ business and needs, using your expertise to help them succeed and growing together with our team at Knightec Group.
Meriting:
- Knowledge of Android development (Kotlin/Java).
- Experience with multiplatform frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Experience as web developer, frontend or fullstack.
