Knightec Group is investing in 9,000 m2 – creating a meeting place for strategic collaborations
Knightec Group signs a seven-year agreement for the iconic office at Lindholmen in Gothenburg – a 9,000 m² building that will now become Knightec Group House. A place for innovation and business development, aiming to become Northern Europe's leading strategic partner in product and digital service development.
"Gothenburg is one of our key regions, with world-leading customers in industry, mobility, and life science. By bringing our teams together in a shared, modern environment, we are creating even better conditions to help our customers drive innovation through successful projects, and thus growth," says Dimitris Gioulekas, CEO of Knightec Group.
A place where business strategy and tech expertise meet
The office in the building at Lindholmen, which locals in Gothenburg sometimes call the Semcon House, will become a vital innovation hub for the group. It is an environment where business strategy and tech expertise meet, focusing on enabling deeper collaboration in complex projects through cross-functional teams with cutting-edge expertise.
"We are creating a place where we and our customers can collaborate and develop a future together. This is at the heart of our culture and success," says Johanna Stenfeldt, Regional Manager, Knightec Group West.
Investing in the new shared office also marks an essential step in the merger between Semcon and Knightec into Knightec Group. More than 500 engineers, designers, and developers from former Semcon, the subsidiaries Squeed and Goodpoint, and Knightec are now coming together under one roof to work on cutting-edge technology and business development.
Knightec Group will lease the property from Castellum. Aleido, a sister company within the Ratos group, is already based in the premises and will continue to do so.
“We are very pleased to welcome Knightec Group to Lindholmen – a place where innovation and the solutions of the future are in focus. The fact that a leading player in digital and technological development has chosen to locate its operations here is a strong testament to the property's appeal and the strategic significance of the area," says Örjan Rystedt, CEO, Region West Castellum.
