Carl Craft has quickly become a standout ambassador for the Knightec Group values of innovation, partnership, and strategic insight. Coming from a background in Chemical Engineering, Carl's journey has taken him from managing high-stakes construction projects to leading complex, strategy-driven initiatives. 

Carl Craft’s journey with Knightec Group began shortly after he completed his master’s degree in chemical engineering. Driven by a passion for impactful work, he joined Knightec as a coordinator and leader in constructing an R&D facility as part of a new factory in China. Reflecting on this experience, he shares, "It was a role that demanded meticulous attention to detail and rapid relationship-building skills." These foundational skills paved the way for Carl’s evolving career, moving him closer to strategic roles within Scania projects where he is tasked with enhancing the operational flow from sales order to delivery.

"It’s been a transformative journey," he says, "and each project has shown me new ways to bridge my technical background with our client’s broader strategic needs."

Currently, Carl has deepened his engagement in that project by leading an initiative at Scania to improve their business planning process for the 12-month horizon. Specifically, optimizing the balance of demand, capacity, strategy, and financial targets amid market fluctuations. "It’s a privilege to work on a project with such a broad perspective, especially one that involves close collaboration with Scania’s executive team," Carl explains.

His commitment to Knightec Group’s values of innovation and impactful partnership comes through in his approach to client relationships. "For me, it’s about looking beyond the task in front of you," he says. "By raising issues or opportunities outside the immediate scope, we show clients that we’re committed to their long-term success."

Carl’s experiences at Scania have deepened his understanding of the power of culture and vision in driving operational excellence.

"I’m constantly inspired by people here who encourage me to expand my skills," he says. "If I can do the same for others, then I consider it a job well done." Engagements in initiatives like the QM accelerator program, Carl is helping to foster a supportive environment where others can cultivate their leadership potential.
